ARCHSTONE-SMITH APARTMENT COMMUNITIES: Multiple plumbing, irrigation, lighting and gas programs, resulting in 8 years of continuous business. A large irrigation program documented 25% water savings, over 50 million gallon saved per year with a payback of under 2 years. Overall conservation efforts by Archstone-Smith and Bottom Line have led to a significant increased capital value of the portfolio
PRESCOTT SCHOOL DISTRICT. PRESCOTT, AZ.: Completed plumbing and irrigation retrofits at 12 schools at this Arizona school district. Documented savings over 35% representing over 9 million gallons saved each year.
ST. MARY'S COLLEGE, MORAGA, CA.: Replaced over 500 toilets and urinals throughout the campus of this N. California college. Yearly savings over 10 million gallons with a 2 year payback after significant local rebates.
CHINO PRISON COMPLEX, CHINO, CA.: Completed in 2007, over 3,000 Icon plumbing control systems installed at three prisons in Chino. The entire $ 2,000,000 cost covered by a grant from the State of California Department of Water Resources. First year savings exceeded 120 million gallons of water.
UNITED STATES POST OFFICE, OAKLAND, CA: Large regional post office building in Oakland area. Over 300 toilets, urinals, sink and shower retrofits completed. Rebates from local utility paid for 50% of the installed cost and paybacks were less than 2 years.
INLAND EMPIRE UTILITIES AGENCY, CHINO, CA.: Bottom Line was awarded a direct install toilet contract by IEUA for apartment communities. This is the largest direct install contract ever awarded in the country with 22,500 toilet installation goal with yearly water savings estimated at 180 million gallons. As of July, 2010, 18,000 toilets have been installed. Many of the apartment installations included lighting and gas retrofit programs adding to the overall water and energy savings.
