Bottom Line also offers lighting, efficiencies and gas saving solutions.  Over the past several years, Bottom Line has implemented hundred of lighting and gas retrofits.  Bottom Line researches and works closely with local electric and gas utility companies to obtain substantial rebates to minimize our clients "out of pocket" costs. 

ELECTRIC RETROFITS

New electric technologies allow for a better light level, reduction of KWh and longer lasting  lamps and ballasts:  

*T12 40 watt fluorescent lamps with magnetic ballast can be replaced with,more efficient T8 28 watt fluorescent lamps and electronic ballasts. 

*High wattage incandescent bulbs and flood lamps can be changed out to longer lasting and more efficient Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) and LED lamps. 

*Incandescent and fluorescent exit signs can be converted to 100,000 hour 3 watt LED exit signs.

*Replacing HID lighting with Induction will reduce large wattage parking area, security and garage lighting energy use by up to 50% and extending the lamp life 5 times while providing same lighting level as the HID.

*Other electrical saving devices include sensors, automated controls and specialized systems for generators. 

All of these lighting programs with or without rebates have provided Bottom Line's clients with 40% to over 100% ROIs plus the added benefits of less maintenance costs.

Bottom Line's newest offering involves the design and installation of  photo-voltaic (PV) solar systems for reducing and managing electrical costs.  Increased emphasis and improved rebates make these retrofits highly cost-effective . 

GAS PROGRAMS

Technology provides an opportunity to save central hot water system's gas usage. 

* A Demand Controller communicates with a hot water boiler (or tank type heater ) regulating temperatures during non-peak times.  Two phase circulating pumps will increase system efficiency saving both gas & electric .  These conservation programs can reduce therm usage by up to 33%.

*Solar pool heating systems will virtually eliminate gas usage while providing a consistent and reliable heat source.
